Privacy notice

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This notice explains how we handle the personal data you send us through this site's contact form, in line with Costa Rica's Law on the Protection of Individuals regarding the Processing of their Personal Data (Law 8968).

Who is responsible

Nuvio, based in Costa Rica, is responsible for your data. You can write to us at hola@nuvio.cr.

What we collect

When you use the form: your name, your company name (optional), your email address, what you need and your message. Name, email and message are required: without them we can't reply.

We don't use tracking cookies or analytics tools. The site only stores, in your browser, whether you prefer light or dark mode.

Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the pages; we keep no visit logs. To prevent abuse of the form, we also process it briefly: we don't store the address itself, only a transformed version (hash) that expires in about two hours and is deleted automatically soon after.

Why we use it

Only to answer your request and, if you ask us to, prepare a proposal. We don't use it for advertising or newsletters, and we never sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Who processes it for us

We use cloud service providers that handle the data on our behalf, with servers outside Costa Rica. By sending the form, you agree to this international data transfer.

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also governed by WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your request for 12 months. After that it is deleted automatically from our systems, and we delete the copy in our email within the same period.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent. Write to hola@nuvio.cr from the address you used in the form.

If you feel we didn't handle your request, you can contact Costa Rica's data protection agency (PRODHAB).

If we change this notice, we'll publish the new version here with its update date.
